Decrackling

Some records have a constant background of little ticks and clicks, sounding something like frying bacon. This is commonly referred to as "vinyl hash" or "crackle".

Wave Repair has a decrackling feature to reduce the amount of ticks and clicks. It does not remove general noise such as hiss (which can be treated using broadband noise reduction), nor does it remove larger clicks and pops (which can be tackled with the declicking facility and/or by manual repair).
