Compression/Amplification - Screen Shots
Amplification and/or dynamic range compression are set while listening to the effect of changing their settings during a realtime preview mode. Both can be applied at the same time thus:
If only compression is required, simply set the amplification to 0dB:
Similarly, if only amplification is required, just set the compression factor as 1 to 1:
Once the desired settings have been found, the preview mode is stopped, and the settings are left ready for the actual compression/amplification to be applied.
